Each course is a 6 day programme (two blocks of three days) with an additional 2 days for accreditation (optional).
Please note - each course tends to fully book 3 - 4 months in advance. However, it is always worth going on the 'waiting list' as last minute deferrals do sometimes occur.

RD1st and A-N Coaching Course for Artists

are supporting a fully accredited course specifically for artists and offering a number of bursaries to a-n members to support attendance (including full fees and add on costs up to £400).

The course (for non a-n members) also has a number of paying places available. Please contact Jennifer Picken for further details and an application form.

 The course takes place at The Dukes Playhouse in Lancaster, UK. The Dukes Theatre. Each day starts at 10.00am and ends at 5.00pm - except on the last day of each module where we aim to end at 4.30pm.

Lancaster is a small, historic city and the training venue is a 10 minute walk from the station (downhill!). There is plenty to do of an evening - a stroll down the canal, film, theatre and music - and everything is in walking distance. As a course participant, you receive RD1st Dukes Membership which entitles you to discount on food, theatre and cinema tickets.

There are a variety of places to stay in the area - you can ring the accomodation hotline on 01524-582393 at the Tourist Information Centre for help and advice on bookings. Or check out for further information.

 The course is accredited through Coaching Culture at Work (formally Performance Coach Training Ltd) Coaching Culture at Work (C.A.W) is an ILM approved training centre and recognises the RD1st Course to be an ILM Level 7 equivalent.
